During COVID many companies found they had to change their services and get creative. Barre studios everywhere were struggling with how they would keep offering classes during the shutdown. Grace and Power Fitness was no different. The owner knew that clients needed the ability to workout and keeping the community they had built was important so she immediately switched over to offering all classes on Zoom. This was not difficult because she works for Barre Certification (IBBFA), an online barre certification company. They have always done the program 100% online and offer test out options through Zoom. Rebecca is a Master Instructor with them and knew Zoom would be a great tool to allow clients to take class, see each other, and chat before and after class. It also allows Rebecca to be able to offer corrections and live feedback to her students. It quickly became popular because of the convenience.
Now you can join any class from the comfort of home. Virtual classes are offered as well as In Studio classes and Grace and Power see the value in this service. Virtual classes are here to stay even after COVID. Barre, Ballet, Pilates, PBT and more is all available online so you can workout at home. Grace and Power also offers an On Demand subscription for those that want to workout on their own. All the dance inspired fitness classes you want are in the video library. New challenges of the times have brought some good changes as well. So while we may miss the energy of a full room in class at the studio it is great to have some flexibility. Hopefully we will get back to those full barre classes sweating and laughing together in person soon. But in the meantime why not do it in your living room?
